Privacy policy
How SwissSuccession collects, uses and protects personal data, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the GDPR.
Data we process
Account details (name, email, language, role and, if given, company and phone), the content you create (listings, buyer profiles, saved searches, messages, offers, documents), records of confidentiality undertakings and fee agreements, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
Why we process it
To operate your account and the confidential deal workflow, to notify you about requests, messages and matching listings, to prevent abuse, to invoice a success fee where one is due, and to meet legal obligations.
Who sees what
Confidential listing details are visible only to buyers whose access request the owner has approved. Documents in a deal channel are visible only to the participants in that channel, and openings are recorded. We never sell personal data.
Service providers
We use processors for hosting and the database, for transactional email, and for error monitoring. They act on our instructions and process data inside Switzerland or the European Union.
Retention
Account and transaction records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as legal or accounting obligations require. Drafts and unused listings can be deleted at your request.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Write to us through the contact page.
Security
Access to data is controlled row by row in the database, transport is encrypted, and confidential material is separated from public listing content by design.
